Several Victorian clubs are keeping a close eye on Gold Coast Suns small forward Brandon Matera who has found himself on the outer at the Suns who sit 3-3 entering round seven.

The Herald Sun reports that Matera is being chased by Carlton, Richmond and Essendon and is out of contract at the end of the season. 

Matera has managed just the two games this season, and has been dropped twice to the Suns NEAFL side. 

The 24 year old played 19 games in 2015 and averaged 15 disposals, as well as kicking 18 goals, while his two games in the NEAFL this season have also been promising, averaging 28 disposals and kicking a goal a game.
